Kid’s Book on Emotional Intelligence and Self Worth Through Sports
This books touches on extremely important neuroscience concepts for emotional intelligence and resilience at a very (very) basic level to introduce kids to how their brain works and how they can control their emotions instead of letting their emotions control them.
It also hits home a point that most professional athletes struggle with post career. Sports (or your performance) is what you do and NOT who you are. There comes a day when we all have to stop playing. We need to know who we are outside of sports so that it doesn’t feel like our identity is stripped away when we can no longer play (or when you make a mistake or have a bad performance).
If this helps even one person, then that is enough.
